Jean Anne Kaulis

Ms. Jean Anne Kaulis, age 54, of 188 Thornton Road, Hanover, Indiana, formerly of Madison, entered this life on June 10, 1951, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of Peter Paul & Wanda Marie Hand Kaulis. She was raised in Madison and was a 1969, graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She resided most all of her life in the Madison area except for three years spent in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a faithful member of the First Christian Church in downtown Madison. She was a nurses aid until she was involved in a severe auto accident on Feb. 6, 1975, leaving her disabled and handicap. But the accident did not keep her from attaining a new career and staying involved in life. She had managed Town & Country Store, worked for the probation dept. She also developed her own answering service and had worked for several different offices, last working for Morris Wooden Real Estate in Madison. She later worked at Dr. Kinyon Chiropracti c in the medicare & insurance department. She was an advocate for the disabled and the handicap, doing her best to advance the laws and regulation at the state & federal level. She loved kids and enjoyed babysitting. She was lovingly attended to and cared for since her accident by her devoted mother. Jean Anne died Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 8:45 pm, at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

Ms. Kaulis will be missed by her mother: Wanda Marie Hand Kaulis of Madison, Indiana; 2 aunts: Doris Hand of Madison, Indiana, Stella Sovkovsky of Boardman, Ohio; many cousins & other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father: Peter Paul Kaulis died: July 6, 1971; her brother: David Kaulis; her grandparents: George H. & Golda Groves Hand and Joseph & Amelia Kaulis; her uncles & aunts: Keith Hand, Frank Sovkovsky, Eugene & Theresa Kaulis, Mildred Eby, Josephine & Bernard Timlin..
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 1:00 pm, by Bro. Greg Russell at Morgan-Webster-Nay Funeral Home, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana Interment will follow on Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at 1:00 pm at the Hebron Cemetery, Madison, Indiana
VISITATION
Friends may call on Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, from 5-7 pm & Saturday from Noon until time of the service at the Morgan-Webster-Nay Funeral Home.
